The group led by gla was awarded the contract in the public tender launched by the Municipality of Nocera Inferiore for the urban regeneration project concerning Fienga Park and the ruins of the medieval castle.

The project includes the restoration of the paths that, from the city center, run through the park and lead to the top of the hill where the ruins of the medieval castle are located, which will be reclaimed and made usable though minor interventions that will preserve the pre-existing features but, at the same time, will allow the visitors/users to enjoy the extraordinary views that from the belvedere area span from the Vesuvius to Ischia. The areas of the Angevin Courtyard will be fit for hosting temporary events and theater performances. The park and ruins will be rescued from their current state of decay and returned to the citizenry as part of the overall process of urban regeneration that has guided the design.
